information to start your planning for the Climate
Change of the Past... and Future Workshop here at WHOI from January 29 to 31, 2007. The meeting will be held in room 507 in the Clark
Building on the Quissett Campus of
Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution starting at 9:00
am on Monday, January 29 and ending at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31. A Morss Colloquium titled “Fire and Ice:
Climate Change of the Past... and Future?” will follow the Tuesday, January 30th
workshop session and will be held in the Redfield Auditorium, WoodsHoleVillage,
starting at 4:30 pm.
If you’d like to bring a poster please do so.Most of the poster boards available for the meeting allow a 3´W x 4´H
poster. There is also limited space for
larger posters on the walls.

Transportation
A transport shuttle will be arranged to pick guests up each morning and take
them to workshop venue and return them to the above inns in the evenings. We
will also work on carpools to get everyone to and from the workshop.
Both Boston's Logan
Airport and Providence's
TF Green Airport are about equal distance from WHOI. Logan
Airport is more convenient with
direct bus service to Falmouth and
Woods Hole. The bus from Logan

has a stop very close to the Inn on the Square (Put in Logan
Airport and Falmouth
on their web site to get the correct bus schedule). The Coonamessett Inn and ShoreWay Acres would
require a cab from the bus station.
