ANS cable snagged between ice chunks. The turbulent water is from the ship’s ‘bubblers’. Primarily for creating a layer of lubricating air bubbles between the ship and the ice, the bubblers are also useful for pushing nuisance ice chunks away from cables.   (Joey Wenig)
