The procedure for donning a cold water survival suit is demonstrated by Kenny Scozzafava. In accordance with regulations, all new personnel with the ship try on a suit to ensure that everyone is prepared in case of emergency. The suit is nominally rated to keep someone alive for approximately 4 hours while immersed in near-freezing cold water. (Rick Krishfield)
