Kris, Derek and Rick Krishfield position a state-of-the art MMP with the latest CTD, current, and optical sensors (turbidity, fluorometry, and photosynthetically available radiation) onto the mooring wire. This unit will profile the upper 2000 m of the water column, while a second MMP on the mooring will profile 1000 m deeper.
