1. On departure day everyone wakes up to the first beautiful and sunny day in Barrow, AK. Good thing since we all need to catch the helicopter over to the Healy today. (Rachel Fletcher)

5. Out in the distance suddenly becomes visible the Healy! Along side her is a German cruise boat and dwarfed by both is another vessel that has been anchored just off the coast shortly after our arrival. (Rachel Fletcher)
6. Suiting Up! Melinda Webster along with others, don their flight suits for the quick 3 minute journey to the Healy. (Rachel Fletcher)
7. The second to last group of the science team head off to the helicopter for nearly 3 weeks on the sea aboard the Coast Guard Icebreaker. (Rachel Fletcher)
