Image : What is hydrography?


Plot showing the some of the measurements taken by Captain Ellis compared to some temperature profiles (temperature versus depth) taken at nearby stations during the WOCE program. Capt. Ellis, himself, give us an idea as to why his deep measurements are warmer than the later observations. Why to you think that Capt. Ellis' the shallow surface observation is also warmer?
