	As part of our collaboration with the Bridgeview School, we will be sending styrofoam cups decorated by the EII students down to the bottom of the ocean. What do you think will happen to them?

During our three and half months as sea, while we are making observations of the chemical and physical characteristics of the South Pacific, through this website we will be in touch with a number of different of schools. We invite other schools, classrooms and individuals to join us as well, through our email link.

Although the Bridgeview students got a chance to decorate their cups, we have made at least two cups for each of the other schools. Most of these have already been sent down and just for the fun of it we sent half of them down to 4000 m and the rest to 6000 m (in Kermadec Trench). We took before and after pictures and will starting loading them into the website. Be patient, the internet isn't always with us.
