Your Cups
Hello Nauset Middle School,

We decorated your cups for you and sent them down on two separate casts.

They are both 12 oz cups.

The first (patchwork pattern) went down to 4276m (4.276 km, 4.66 miles)  on station 61 at 30.08S 176.5E in the South Fiji Basin.

The second, we sent down into the Kermadec Trench to 6000m. This one had a difficult trip and came back in one piece, but split down the middle.

Look at the before and after differences. Can you make sense of them? Check out our general comments on the cups size and Styrofoam.
