The “Olympics,” held twice a summer, combine training informal competition for the crew.  Events include fire fighting, navigating in limited visibility, and first aid.

In the first clip, we see the “smoke room,” visibility zero.  The crew must locate a set of hand warmers using a helmet-mounted thermal imaging device.

In the second, two crewmen race to don full firefighting suits—they do it in two minutes.
