At Mooring site D early in the morning, preparations begin to deploy the last of the BGOS moorings and finish this portion of the cruise. Early on, sitting off Tuk waiting for fuel, it seemed unlikely that we would reach this point with only a few CTD stations remaining after this, but with some luck and extra hard work in difficult conditions, it looks like we could pull it off.

Having described the mooring operations several times already (and running out of words), I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Suffice it to say that the redeployment went well, and the system is positioned with the other two moorings for another year of data acquisition under the ice pack.
