Steve Lambert, WHOIAugust 4, 2012The weather is not so good today with the wind exceeding 40 knots, the temperature has fallen more than ten degrees, and it has begun to rain. No more shorts and tee shirts for the group! With the ship's crew making preparations for the voyage ahead, the scientists continue to make use of the time to locate and organize equipment. The forward hold, foredeck, and helicopter hangar are all full of scientific instruments and equipment. It has all been packed for transport but must now be unpacked and unboxed for use during the next month. | |||||||||||||||||
