Steve Lambert, WHOIAugust 19, 2012It was a beautiful day near Tuktoyaktuk and I was invited to dinner with Captain McNeill. After a relaxing Sunday enjoying the warm weather and sunshine I met up with our host and my fellow guests for a great dinner. Meals aboard the LSSL are quite good but dinner today was sure to be a special treat. A full 5 course meal complete with salad, appetizer, first course, main course, and dessert. We had a good mix of officers and scientists for dinner and we talked a lot about music, history of the ship, travel, and so on. And I think everyone enjoyed my story about parking the motorcycle in the living room. The ten of us really had a nice evening and it was a great opportunity to get to know everyone a bit better.
