Well we made it. After a month at sea we are now back at port and back where we began. The gang will be departing the ship today and then head for home. After one last helicopter flight with Chris we will be dropped off at the Kugluktuk airport then head south. Even with a few hangups it was an interesting and productive trip. I enjoy meeting new people and also seeing old friends from prior cruises and I always learn something new.

I am happy to be heading for home but will miss all these wonderful folks and look forward to working with them again soon. I wish everyone a safe journey home.

Many thanks to the officers and crew of the Canadian Coast Guard Ship Louis S. St. Laurent.
